BEAVER ― Grape news, wine lovers: Beaver Wine Fest returns Sept. 9.
Lasting from 3-7 p.m., the annual event on Third Street gives adults a Riesling (or Rosé) to stroll through the Beaver business district to sample all types of wines from Pennsylvania producers.
Will there be a wide variety of wines to sip? You bet Shiraz there will.
Full bottles will be sold, also.
Confirmed wineries that will participate:
Kavic Winery, Carnegie.
Courtyard Winery, North East, Pa.
Fitzgibbon Meadery, Ellwood City.
Wine O’clock Somewhere Winery, South Park Township.
Glatz Wine Cellars Inc., Aliquippa.
R Wine Cellar, Pittsburgh's Strip District.
La Vigneta Winery, Sarver.

Greenhouse Winery, Irwin.
"There are still more that might be participating, so I am hoping that we can secure a few more," event planner Jamie McIntosh said.
Tickets cost $35 at eventbrite.com, which includes a gift bag.
"This year, there will be new and exciting giveaways: a two-bottle tote bag, a stemless wine glass, and a wine stopper," McIntosh said. "There will be a DJ, and Papa Duke’s food truck, and most stores will be open with extended hours."
The Beaver Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the event.
